Conference Theme: Putting the Communication in Science!
We think you will love our keynote speaker and cannot wait to make the formal announcement! Session strands will focus on perspectives in science communication and education, from communicating with peers, the public or in a classroom. The day will be rounded out with a candid panel discussion on collaboration between scientists and students and the role that the informal ed community plays in bridging the divide. Read more about the impetus for this conference theme here.

About this year's logo:
The logo is a collaboration with Class of 2019 MBHS graduate, Andrew Yager, former student of SCMEA member Jaime Church. Andrew submitted his idea for our logo during our SCMEA Logo Art Contest. We thank you for your submission Andrew! Andrew proudly "put the communication in science" for us. Hank the dolphin and megaphone added by SCMEA board. All in all, a fine example of communication and teamwork!
